To keep them in good shape and safeguard your dental health, further measures are needed.

Use a toothbrush with soft bristles made especially for dentures to clean your teeth. These brushes are designed in such a way that the surface won't get scratched up by using these toothbrushes.

  • Dentures shouldn't be brushed with toothpaste, but you must use a toothbrush to brush your tongue and gums twice a day. This helps prevent foul breath and maintains the health of your gums.

  • The remaining teeth should be daily brushed and flossed if you wear partial dentures.

  • Additionally beneficial to oral health is using mouthwash to rinse your mouth. Before using mouthwash, you can take out your dentures or use mouthwash made especially for people who wear dentures.


What are the ideal methods for caring for dentures?

Dental implants can last an average of 7 to 10 years when properly cared for. Here are some suggestions to help these last longer.

  • After eating and drinking, take off your dentures and give them warm water rinse to prevent the accumulation of food particles.
